| KC Gurukul Public School celebrates 15th Annual Day | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 9: Dazzling dances on the themes of nationalism, melodious music with a riot of colors amidst zeal, vitality and bliss marked the 15th Annual Day of KC Gurukul Public School, Paloura. The Commissioner Secretary School Education, J&K UT, R.N. Sharma, IAS was the Chief Guest. The 90-minute action packed cultural bonanza was based on the theme of "Sambhav--Nothing is impossible" which began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp seeking blessings of almighty with a welcome dance, which gave a devotional touch to celebration. While the tiny tots of nursery, LKG and UKG left the audience in awe with their incredible performance, the inspiring act by grade one on 'Sound Odyssey: Then & Now' captivated their every move. The spell bound performance by grade second showcasing 'Qawwali,' and the dance bestowing External Gratitude, paying tribute to parents presented by grade three mesmerized the audience. The yoga performance by grade fourth was absolutely captivating, echoed by the thunderous applause from the audience. Kalyug by grade five elucidated the age of challenges, the era of awakening. Spectacular display of Salt Satyagraha by grade six enthralled everyone. Vibrant depiction that Delve into the symbolism and significance of the words and journey of the Gautam Buddha by grade seven. The artists of 8th class presented the enchanted rendition on Operation Sindoor which left the audience awestruck. Opera on Vande Mataram mesmerized the spectators leaving them tear-jerking. The program rode to final crescendo with the fervent Bhangra. It added elan to the function. The exhilarating show was an unforgettable experience and left a lasting impression on the minds of everyone present. It was indeed a spectacular display of talent and fervor. The Commissioner Secretary School Education lauded the talent displayed by the young artists of the School and that students should continue to refine and sharpen their talents and potentials to carve a niche for the nation. He said that education is incomplete without keeping in view the goal of serving one's own country. Appreciating the school's action in maintaining complete balance in enrollment of boys and girls in equal numbers and said that girls have equal right to move forward in every sphere of nation building and must be promoted. Academic Director, Mrs. Anu Jandial formally welcomed the Guests and introduced the theme of the program. The Principal of the school, Miss Mamta Sharma presented the Annual report 'Memorabilia'. She thanked everyone for their contribution in the journey to KCGPS. Accolades were presented to the exceptional and outstanding performers in the fields of Scholastic, Co-scholastic and sports. The Vice Chairman, Arush Choudhary presented the Vote of Thanks. The Chairman of the school Arvind Mahajan lauded the efforts of the staff and students. |
