Jammu, Dec 2: Pradeep Sharma, Publicity Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Jammu South district, urged local workers and citizens to enthusiastically adopt the ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Har Ghar Swadeshi, Ghar-Ghar Swadeshi’ campaigns. This campaign will not only strengthen economic self-reliance but also play a significant role in empowering local industries, farmers, and artisans.
Sharma informed that this initiative is being run from September 25 to December 25 under the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan’ led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He told the workers to take this message to every booth level so that the use of indigenous products increases in every home.
Adopting Swadeshi is not just an economic decision, but a resolve for nation-building. Every purchasing decision will strengthen India’s self-reliance.
On this occasion, Sharma appealed to the shopkeepers of the Jammu South area to proudly put up a board saying ‘We are Swadeshi’ at their establishments and create a special corner for indigenous products. He informed that Swadeshi fairs will be organized under the campaign, where local products will be promoted. Also, awareness will be spread through special conferences for youth and women. |
