| SSP Ramban Holds Thana Diwas, VDG Conference at Rajgarh | | | Early Times Report RAMBAN, Dec 12: A Thana Diwas programme was today organised at Rajgarh, presided over by the Senior Superintendent of Police Ramban. The event witnessed the participation of DySP Headquarters Ramban, DySP Operations Ramban, Major 12 RR, prominent citizens, local stakeholders, and shopkeepers from Rajgarh and adjoining areas. Officers from the civil administration, including the Naib Tehsildar Rajgarh, BDO Rajgarh, Medical Officer Rajgarh, Veterinary Doctor Rajgarh, along with representatives from various government departments, were also present. During the interaction, several public issues and grievances were put forth by the community members. The SSP Ramban patiently heard all concerns and assured the participants that their genuine demands would be communicated to senior formations and the concerned departments for timely and appropriate redressal. Participants were sensitized about the importance of cooperating with Police in the prevention, detection, and eradication of crime. Reiterating its commitment to community-oriented policing, Ramban Police emphasized its ongoing endeavour to enhance public outreach, accessibility, and engagement, aimed at strengthening mutual trust, ensuring transparency, and promoting people-centric policing. A meeting with the Peace Committee Rajgarh was also conducted with the objective of strengthening communal harmony and fostering unity among diverse groups. Additionally, a VDG (Village Defence Group) Conference was held, during which VDGs were sensitised about the recent security situation in the region, and special emphasis was laid on enhancing their training standards and ensuring the welfare of VDG members. The combined programmes saw an encouraging participation of approximately 300-400 persons, reflecting strong public involvement. The community members appreciated the efforts of Ramban Police for organising such outreach initiatives and acknowledged the proactive steps taken to address public concerns. |
