Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 12: Dogra Degree College (Autonomous) organised an educational industrial visit for the BBA 1st Semester students to Nav Bharat Flour Mills, SIDCO Bari Brahmana, with the objective of providing hands-on exposure to real-time industrial processes and modern food manufacturing systems. The students were accompanied by faculty members of the Department of Management. During the visit, Mr. Kuldeep Singh Rawat, Production Manager ( P-Mark), personally guided the students through the mill and explained the complete production cycle of wheat-based products, including atta, maida, suji, and bran. He demonstrated how wheat is received, cleaned, and processed using advanced pre-cleaning and milling technologies, and further described the movement of wheat through various automated stages that ensure precision in product extraction and quality control. Mr. Rawat also shared valuable insights into the mill's product composition. Students additionally observed the automated packaging section, where modern systems ensure hygienic and efficient packing of finished products. The visit helped students gain a deeper understanding of industrial workflow, process automation, quality assurance, and supply chain operations. It also strengthened their practical knowledge of food-processing technologies and industrial efficiency, complementing their theoretical classroom learning.
