Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 12: The School of Mathematics at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) organized a vibrant and inspiring Alumni Interaction Programme . The event brought together distinguished alumni, faculty members, and students for an engaging exchange of experiences, achievements, and future aspirations. Dr. Sandeep Sharma, Assistant Professor and Alumni Coordinator, warmly welcomed all guests, including the prominent alumni invited for the occasion. Mr. Sulinder Singh, Statistical Officer, Planning Department, J&K (UT), and a proud alumnus of the department, shared his professional journey and insights with the audience. Dr. Ambika Bhat, Assistant Professor, GCET Jammu, also addressed thegathering and motivating students by recounting her inspiring path toacademic success. Senior faculty member Prof. V. K. Bhat spoke about the steady growth and accomplishments of the department over the years. Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Head, School of Mathematics and Convenor of the event, highlighted the major achievements of the School and encouraged the organizers to host such interactions regularly for the benefit of students. The programme was graced by Dr. Mir Irfan Ul Haq, Associate Dean, International and Alumni Affairs, as the Chief Guest. He emphasized the importance of collective alumni engagements at the university level and assured continued support for similar initiatives in the future.
