SAMBA, Dec 12: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized six dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Samba and Ghagwal which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO PS Ghagwal, Incharges of Police Posts Supwal & Rakh Amb Talli of PS Samba and Incharge Police Post Rajpura of PS Ghagwal while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized six dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK02CT-9433, JK21A-8872, JK02AT-6287, JK14D-9133, JK08F-1273, JK21G-7817 which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The above-mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action. |
