Jammu (Rural) police solves Marh firing incident; 5 notorious criminals arrested in Domana

JAMMU, Dec 12: In a significant development, Jammu (Rural) Police have successfully solved the recent firing incident that took place in the Marh area a few days ago. Acting promptly on the complaint lodged by Jatinder Singh @ Rajan, son of Surinder Singh and resident of Marh, Jammu, the police registered a case at Police Station Domana under FIR No. 258/2025, pertaining to offences under Sections 3/4/25/27 of the Arms Act and Section 191(2) BNS.
The Police team led by Insp.Varuneshwar, SHO Domana raided many placed and sucessfully arrested all the 05 accused involved in the incident.The details are as under:-
Ripu Daman Singh Jamwal, S/o Shubhdeep Singh Jamwal, R/o Mubarak Mandi.
Akshay Sharma, S/o Late Rajesh Sharma, R/o Ragunath Pura, Jammu.
Vikrant Kesar, S/o Late Rakesh Kesar, R/o Marh, Jammu.
Rohan Goswami, S/o Late Mohinder Pal, R/o Gujjar Nagar.
Abhinesh Singh, S/o Sudarshan Singh, R/o Dogra Hall, Rehari, Jammu.
The Police has recovered :-
01 country made pistol (Katta) used in the incident along with one live round and one fired round.
Four sharp edged weapons recovered from their possession.
One scooty and one motorcycle seized, both used in the commission of the offence.
The timely and coordinated efforts of Jammu (Rural) Police resulted in the swift identification and arrest of all five notorious criminals involved in the incident, thereby enhancing the sense of safety and confidence among the residents of the Marh area.
