Doda, Dec 13: On 13/12/2025, an incident of public disturbance was reported at Domail, Bhaderwah, wherein a person identified as Obaid Hussain, S/o Bashir Ahmed, R/o Malsoo, Bhaderwah, was found creating nuisance at a public place.
Acting promptly, Doda Police took cognizance of the matter and apprehended the accused under Section 355 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). A medical examination of the accused was conducted, during which the attending doctor opined that he was under the influence of alcohol.
The accused was subsequently produced before the Hon’ble Sub-Judge Court, Bhaderwah. After due legal proceedings, the Hon’ble Court convicted the accused and awarded community service as punishment, directing him to perform cleaning duties at SDH Bhaderwah for two days, i.e., 17/12/2025 and 18/12/2025.
