| Madhu Param Hans delivers spiritual sermons to devotees | | | early times report
Jammu, Dec 14: His Holiness Sadguru Shri Madhu Paramhans Ji Maharaj of Sahib Bandgi, while showering the congregation with his nectar-like discourses in Mishriwala today, said that when a person experiences the bliss of concentration, their mind does not wander in the turmoil of worldly thoughts. Sahib's words are very meaningful. He says that whatever you contemplate without the Name of God is a trap of time. We all know that we have to sit in meditation. And the means to concentrate the mind is remembrance of God's name. Yet, why is this not happening? If self-realization occurs, a person will not be engrossed in the world. Then the illusion that "I am the body" ends. He will consider the body as his clothes. He will not be a partaker of the body's joys and sorrows. He will not experience pleasure and pain. The senses will automatically come under control. The mind will not be able to deceive him. Lust and anger will lose their power. Just as one mistakes a rope for a snake, but when one realizes it is a rope, then even if one wants to be afraid, it will not be possible. In this way, after knowing the soul, the feeling of "I am the body" ends. Then he does not follow the dictates of the mind. Sahib Ji said that a child makes a demand, but we don't want to give it to him because that thing is harmful to him. Similarly, what we want from God, He doesn't want to give us. And what He wants to give us, we don't want to take. Don't think that God is far away from you. Everything is within you. Discernment, knowledge, detachment, contentment. No matter how foolish a person is, when he is about to do something wrong, a silent message comes from within, "Don't do this." This body contains treasures of knowledge. It is filled with all powers, including supernatural powers and siddhis. But due to ignorance, man is wandering outside. Just like the musk deer searching for the source of the fragrance outside, this man is wandering outside in search of God. Spirituality is not about wandering outside. Spirituality is about understanding how our mind is working, how our soul is working. What are the opposing forces within us, and how are they operating? This introspection is spirituality. Spirituality is not a journey. Spirituality is not a pilgrimage. Therefore, even if you wander outside your whole life, you will not find God, you will not experience the realization of the soul. Then why does a person wander outside? There is a reason for this. Divine vision is not found anywhere else; it is within your meditation. You will gain strength through contemplation. Sit in meditation. Understanding will gradually come. Prevent your mind from wandering during meditation
