| ADC Bhaderwah reviews PMAY works | | |  Early Times Report
BHADERWAH, Dec 17: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bhaderwah Sunil Kumar Bhutyal on Wednesday chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of works under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) in the sub-division. Officers from the RDD department briefed the ADC on the status of sanctioned houses, ongoing constructions and issues faced at the field level.
The ADC emphasized timely completion of houses, adherence to guidelines and proper utilization of funds to ensure benefits reach the deserving beneficiaries. He directed the concerned officials to resolve pending cases on a priority and strengthen monitoring for quality construction. The meeting concluded with directions to expedite PMAY works for achieving the targets within the stipulated timeframe.
Meanwhile, the Additional Deputy Commissioner chaired a review meeting to assess the preparations for the upcoming Pulse Polio immunization programme. Officers from the Health, ICDS, Education and Municipality Departments briefed the ADC about micro-plans, vaccination coverage, deployment of teams and awareness measures.
The ADC stressed the importance of 100 percent coverage of the eligible children and directed the officials to strengthen coordination, especially in remote and hard-to-reach areas. |
