REASI, Dec 17: District Police Reasi, as part of its ongoing efforts to ensure public safety and prevent any misuse of Yatri SIM cards, today undertook a dedicated awareness campaign across the district.
During the drive, banners and pamphlets were distributed among SIM distributors, highlighting the dos and don'ts regarding the issuance and use of Yatri SIMs. Police teams also displayed these awareness materials at prominent public places, especially in areas frequently visited by Yatris and local residents.
The campaign aims to educate SIM distributors, Yatris and the general public about the proper verification process, responsible usage of SIM cards and the legal consequences of any misuse. District Police Reasi has urged all SIM distributors to strictly follow guidelines while issuing Yatri SIMs. |
