Bhaderwah, Dec 21: The Mission Director, Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP)and JKCIP, Shri Sandeep Kumar, IFS, and the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda, Shri Harvinder Singh, IAS, conducted an intensive tour of Bhaderwah today. The officers were accompanied by Worthy Director Horticulture Jammu, Shri Gul Syed, and all the district heads of line departments, who showcased the achievements made under HADP in horticulture and agriculture. During their visit, the officers visited the Mother Block established under HADP at Seri and the Agri-Horti Service Centre established under JKCIP at Sartingal by the Horticulture department. They interacted with beneficiaries, including local farmers and horticulturists, and assured them that the area will be developed with respect to all agri-horti sectors. The visit aimed to review the progress of HADP and identify areas for further development in horticulture, agriculture, and allied sectors. The officers took stock of the facilities and services provided by the Agri-Horti Service Centre, which has been set up to provide support to local farmers and horticulturists. The DDC and Mission Director, HADP/JKCIP, emphasized the importance of horticulture development in Bhaderwah, citing its potential to boost the local economy. They assured the people of Bhaderwah that the administration is committed to developing the horticulture and agriculture sectors in the area.
