Sweater distribution organised in GHS Deeli

Jammu, Dec 22: In a generous act of care, kindness and community spirit, (Mrs. Surinder Kour) a Teacher by Profession and Philanthropist distributed sweater to support the needy students to help them stay warm during the colder season.
The sweater distribution was held on dated 22/12/2025 on the school campus, benefiting the students who may need additional support during the winter months. The initiative reflects the school’s ongoing commitment to student well-being and community support. The sweaters were provided free of charge to students in need. The initiative aimed to ensure that all students remain warm and comfortable while attending the school.
‘’I am not donating anything but I wanted to make you comfortable, the future of our country. This is a small way to help and makes a difference”said Mrs Kour. School HM Mr. Vijay pal praised the effort and expressed appreciation for the donation and stated, this generous contribution demonstrates genuine concern for our students and highlights the vital role our social workers play in nurturing both academic and personal growth. The school community extends its gratitude to Mrs Surinder Kour for this thoughtful gesture which has brought warmth and encouragement to many students.
