During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner Doda reviewed the progress of work being carried out to address damage caused by the landslide near the Grid Station area that occurred in September 2025.
He interacted with the officials of the concerned departments on-site and issued necessary directions to expedite the repair and stabilization process, while ensuring quality and safety standards.
In view of the ongoing restoration work and in the interest of public safety, traffic on the affected stretch has been suspended till 27th of December 2025.
During this period, all vehicles will be diverted via the alternate route from Doda to Pul Doda through Ganpat Bridge. Commuters have been advised to follow traffic advisories and cooperate with the district administration.
