| PM Modi Leading From Front | | | While addressing the Passing Out Parade in Haryana, Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government has brought lasting peace to Jammu and Kashmir and decisive policies over the past decade have transformed the internal security scenario across the country. The Home Minister recalled that when PM Modi took over the reins of the country in 2014 there were three big challenges confronting the nation, these were in the matter of law and order— left-wing extremism, terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, and armed groups in the northeast. But after 10 years from the formation of the PM Modi led regime, there is peace in these three areas, and the country is safe on these three fronts. During the past decade India has sent a clear message to everyone that there is zero tolerance to terrorism and if anyone challenges our sovereignty and targets Indian citizens, he will get a befitting reply. In Jammu and Kashmir, firm action against terror networks, improved intelligence coordination, and focused development initiatives have together altered the ground reality. While challenges remain, the reduction in violence and the restoration of normalcy signal that a decisive break has been made from the past cycle of instability and uncertainty. Under PM Modi’s leadership India has made it clear that no one can take us for granted. Anyone indulging in any misadventure will be taught a lesson in the language which is understood by him or her. PM Modi’s no appeasement policy has made it clear that India is standing on its own feet and it needs no crutches to walk. This approach has reinforced the idea that India is secure and is moving forward in a right direction. It signals a departure from dependency and indecision, asserting that national security cannot be compromised for short-term political gains. The government’s stance that misadventures will be answered “in the language understood by the aggressor” underscores a new confidence in India’s security posture—one that rejects ambiguity and hesitation. As India moves forward, the consolidation of these gains will be crucial. Peace must translate into sustained development, employment opportunities, and social harmony, particularly in regions that have borne the brunt of conflict for decades. The past decade demonstrates that strong leadership, clear intent, and consistent policy can reshape even the most complex security scenarios—an important lesson for the nation’s future trajectory. |
