| Free medical outreach camp held | | | Early Times Report
GANDOH, Dec 30: A free Medical Outreach Camp under the MMU initiative was today organized at Village Gundow in Medical Block Gandoh.
The camp was conducted by a dedicated medical team comprising Dr. Parveez Ahmed Mir (MO RBSK), Dr. Qurrat-ul-Ain (MO RBSK), Rohit Singh Manhas (MLHP) and Sonika Devi (FMPHW RBSK) with active assistance from the MMU staff of CMO Office.
A wide range of healthcare services including general health check-up, NCD screening and other essential medical services were provided to the local population. More than 250 beneficiaries availed health services and free medicines at the camp.
Additionally, the medical team educated the local population regarding health, hygiene and the government health schemes with special emphasis on Ayushman Vay Vandana Card.
The initiative was appreciated by the locals and reflected the commitment of the Health Department towards delivering quality healthcare services at the doorstep of the people, especially in far-flung and underserved areas. |
