TWS felicitates newly elected office bearers of Home for Aged and Infirm

JAMMU, Jan 12: Tawi Welfare Society (TWS) organised an impressive felicitation programme at Apnavan, Suray Chak, to honour Pankaj Gupta and Dr. Dinesh Gupta, who were unanimously elected as President and Secretary respectively of the Home for Aged and Infirm in the recently held General Body Meeting.
The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of a large number of volunteers of Tawi Welfare Society along with other like-minded citizens, reflecting the Society's strong commitment towards social welfare and community service.
Several distinguished members of the Management Committee of the Home for Aged and Infirm were present on the occasion, including S. Harbans Singh (Vice President), Vijay Gupta (Joint Secretary), Sh. Vijay Dhawan, Dr. Surinder Kumar, and S. Rajinder Singh. Their presence added grace and significance to the event.
The honoured guests were warmly welcomed by the members of Tawi Welfare Society through traditional garlanding. As a mark of respect and honour, shawls were ceremoniously presented to Pankaj Gupta and Dr. Dinesh Gupta, acknowledging their dedicated service and leadership.
On the occasion, Yash Paul Mangotra, General Secretary of Tawi Welfare Society, spoke in detail about the selfless contribution, visionary leadership, and people-centric approach of both the newly elected President and Secretary. He highly appreciated their relentless efforts for the welfare of the aged and infirm and their unwavering commitment to serving the common people of society.
In their addresses, the guests emphasised the need to work together in close coordination, highlighting that the motto of both institutions is almost the same-to serve humanity sincerely, at the right place, and in the most effective and dignified manner.
Expressing their gratitude, Pankaj Gupta and Dr. Dinesh Gupta sincerely thanked Tawi Welfare Society for the honour bestowed upon them. They also lauded the volunteers of the Society for their dedication, hard work, and continued service towards the needy and underprivileged sections of society.
The programme was efficiently conducted by Nand Kishor, senior member of Tawi Welfare Society, who ensured the smooth flow of the event. He concluded the programme by expressing heartfelt thanks to all the esteemed guests and participants for accepting the invitation and making the event a grand success.
