Akhnoor, Jan 18: Troops of the Crossed Swords Division under the aegis of White Knight Corps in coordination with civil medical authorities, organised a two-day Medical Outreach and Health Awareness Camp at Kotli village on 16-17 January 2026.
The camp catered to approximately 150 civilians, few Gujar & Bakarwals, who were provided with free medical examination, eye check-up, consultation by doctors and distribution of essential medicines. The medical team also conducted health education sessions focusing on basic healthcare, hygiene, preventive medicine and early identification of common ailments.
The initiative was aimed at enhancing healthcare accessibility in remote areas while fostering strong civil-military cooperation and reinforcing the Army’s commitment towards welfare of the local populace. The response from the villagers was encouraging, with widespread appreciation for the professional medical support and outreach efforts. |
