The operating period of this special reserved train has been extended several times before, making it a better travel option for passengers compared to other trains. Giving importance to this option, the operating period of the special reserved train has been extended. Details of the extended train services are as follows:
Train Number 04081 New Delhi to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (4 trips)
Previously scheduled period: 27 December to 17 January 2026
Extended period: 23 January to 26 January 2026 (only 4 trips)
Train Number 04082 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi to New Delhi (4 trips)
Previously scheduled period: 28 December to 18 January 2026
Extended period: 24 January to 27 January 2026 (only 4 trips)
Regarding the extension of this special reserved train service, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Shri Uchit Singhal, said, “The operating period of this special reserved train has been extended again because its previous operations were successful, proving to be an economical option for passengers. The train has maintained almost 100 percent occupancy during its previous runs. This train is not only benefiting passengers from Jammu and Kashmir but also those from other railway stations along the route such as Jalandhar Cantt, Ludhiana, and Ambala Cantt. As a result, the operating period of this special reserved train has been extended once again for four trips. Passengers are requested to check the train’s timetable on Dial 139 and NTES before commencing their journey.”
