Jammu, Jan 22: Rida Bhanot, a student of Class IV-G and a talented young dancer of Delhi Public School Jammu, brought immense pride to her school by securing the Silver Medal and 2nd position at the National Singing and Dance Sports Championship 2025–26, held at Asansol, West Bengal, on 6th and 7th January 2026. The prestigious championship was organised by the Bengal Dance Sports Association.
Demonstrating remarkable grace and confidence, Rida competed in both Junior Group Dance and Solo Dance events in the Under-14 age category. Her captivating performance of a traditional Kashmiri dance left a lasting impression on the judges and audience alike. For her outstanding presentation, she was awarded a silver medal, along with a participation trophy and appreciation certificates.
The esteemed management of DPS Jammu, under the visionary leadership of M. K. Ajatshatru Singh, Hon’ble President-RCT; Ritu Singh, Distinguished PVC Kuwarani; S. S. Sodhi, Hon’ble Director; along with the Principal, Ruchi Chabra, and the entire staff, congratulated Rida and her proud parents on this commendable achievement.
