Early Times Report
POONCH, Jan 31: Education company PhysicsWallah (PW), has expanded its offline footprint with the launch of a new PW Tuition Centre in Poonch, Jammu & Kashmir. The centre will offer academic support to students of Classes 8, 9, and 10, covering subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Social Science, and English, with a curriculum aligned to the CBSE and JK BOSE curricula.
Located near Kashmir Flavours, Ward No. 11, Poonch, the centre is the fourth addition in the Jammu division. The other three centres are located at Narwal Bypass Road, Akhnoor Road, and Kheora, Rajouri.
The PW Tuition Centre is designed to provide in-person academic guidance, helping students build strong conceptual understanding and prepare confidently for their school examinations. In addition, students can also receive counselling for JEE and NEET programmes offered at Jammu Vidyapeeth.
To mark the launch, PW will host a mega career counselling seminar and career fair, 'Aabhar', on 1st February 2026, starting 11:00 AM onwards, at the new Poonch Tuition Centre. The event is open to students from Classes 7 to 12, as well as drop-year students. Entry is free, and students can walk in to interact directly with counsellors.
On the launch, Ankit Gupta, CEO-Offline, PhysicsWallah (PW), said, "The launch of our PW Tuition Centre in Poonch marks another step in expanding access to academic guidance for school students. Our aim has always been to make the right efforts that can help in their academic journeys. Through these centres, we aim to provide the right direction, in-person mentoring, and learning resources to help students strengthen their academic foundations. With this new centre in Poonch, we look forward to supporting more students across Jammu and Kashmir."
The centre will follow a blended learning model, combining offline classes with digital support. Students will have access to recorded lectures, notes, CBSE/JK BOSE study modules, Social Science map books, and faculty presentations. Regular offline Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) will be conducted. Academic support will include chapter-wise assignments, tests, and mock half-yearly and annual examinations aligned with board patterns. The curriculum also incorporates activity-based learning, in-class experiments, and ASL assessments conducted by faculty from the nearest PW Vidyapeeth.
Additionally, students will gain access to a digital library, Foundation Pitara content, handwritten notes, concise revision material, and hand-drawn diagrams to support effective learning.
