Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 31: Abhinav Anand, President, Traders Association Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, today called on Mr. Arun Gupta, President, Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCI), Jammu, to discuss issues and expectations of the trading community in light of the Union Budget. During the meeting, Abhinav Anand briefed Gupta about the concerns of local traders, shopkeepers, and small business owners of Trikuta Nagar, especially regarding rising operational costs, GST compliance challenges, high electricity tariffs, and the need for easier access to credit for small and medium enterprises. Anand appreciated the Union Budget for its focus on infrastructure development, MSME growth, and support to the business sector. He emphasized that the traders of Jammu expect early implementation of pro-business policies announced in the budget so that the benefits reach the grassroots level. Arun Gupta assured full support of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry to the Traders Association and stated that CCI Jammu will continue to raise the genuine issues of traders before the Government for appropriate redressal. He also highlighted the importance of unity among trade bodies to ensure that the voice of the business community is strongly represented at all levels. Both leaders agreed to work together for the welfare of traders and for strengthening the business environment in Jammu. |
