THANNAMANDI, Feb 15: Government Degree College Thannamandi organized a Cleanliness Drive in the college campus under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Shamim Ahmed Azad. The programme was conducted by the Shikshit Bharat/Literary Committee in collaboration with the College NSS and NCC units as part of a series of activities being organized in the college to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, popularly known as the Iron Man of India. The initiative was undertaken by Associate NCC Officer Prof. Altaf Hussain and NSS Programme Officer Prof. Supriya Gupta, with the support of Dr. Nazar ul Islam, Convener, Shikshit Bharat Committee, to instil the values of discipline, responsibility, and civic sense among students while paying tribute to the great national leader. |
