Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 15: The sacred grounds of Amreshwar Temple in Village Chatha Gujjran shimmered with spiritual fervour as devotees gathered to celebrate Shivratri with deep reverence and communal harmony. The atmosphere resonated with chants and prayers as countless devotees partook in the blessed prasad, seeking the divine grace of Lord Shiva. The event was graced by former SSP Mohan Lal Kaith, who, as Chief Guest, highlighted the importance of such holy gatherings in spreading messages of brotherhood, peace, and prosperity. He honoured distinguished guests with shawls and chunnis, symbolizing respect and compassion, and reaffirmed his steadfast commitment to serving the community and addressing people's concerns. Prominent figure former Sarpanch Harjeet Singh along with other dignitaries, offered prayers to Lord Shiva and reflected on His eternal glory. In his address, he said: "Lord Shiva, the Adi-Dev, is Sayambhu-self-existent and beyond birth or end. He embodies the cosmic cycle of creation and destruction, reminding us to live with compassion, unity, and devotion."
