BMS to hold protest on February 25

Jammu, Feb 21: Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh Jammu Kashmir has decided to hold protest demonstration in accordance with the directions from central BMS on 25 February as part of nation vide dharna pardarshans before deputy commissioners offices all over the state in support of workers demands and resolutions adopted in BMS 21 triennial conference held from 6-8 February at Puri Odisha and will submit memorandum of demands to Prime minister and Chief minister through Deputy Commissioners
BMS has adopted resolution and demanded from central Govt. that Universal enforcement of labour laws for all sectors and all sections of workers without exception in the true sprit of Antyodaya, Rectification of workers concerns in two labour codes namely Industrial Relation code 2020 and Occupational Safety, health and working conditions code 2020, revival and strengthening of tripartite mechanism, immediate convening of the Indian Labour Conference, immediate increase in the thresh hold limit for coverage under ESI and EPF and similarly memorandum of state level demands will be submitted to Hon’ble Chief Minister said in the press conference by state General Secretary Neelam Sharma, President Dev Parkash among others Harbans Choudhary senior leader of BMS, Mukesh Kumar Dy General Secretary Sachin Bali vice president, Ravi Hans Secretary Subash Chander office secretary BMS and Bua Ditta also addressed the media.
