CBC concludes two-day photo exhibition at Govt ITI Samba

SAMBA, Feb 21: The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, concluded its two-day Photo Exhibition at Government ITI Samba today.
Assistant Commissioner Development, Samba, Sh. Rafiq Ahmad Jaral was the chief guest on the occassion. After visiting the exhibition panels, he lauded CBC's efforts in effectively disseminating information about government initiatives among youth and rural communities. In his address, he talked about Viksit Bharat Gram Yojana (VB-GRAMG), outlining its objectives and emphasizing the pivotal role of young citizens in nation-building.
The event was also attended by Block Development Officers Sh. Maqbool Ahmad and Sh. Saqib Sharif Khan who spoke on the provisions and benefits of VB-GRAMG, encouraging students to actively participate in developmental programmes.
A student seminar was organised to raise awareness about various government schemes, while a drawing competition on the Skill India Mission witnessed active participation. The programme also featured folk song performances by students and CBC J&K artists.
The exhibition concluded with a felicitation ceremony honouring dignitaries and participants. The initiative was aimed to spread awareness about flagship programmes of the Government of India and inspire youth to contribute towards the vision of a developed and self-reliant nation.
