Jammu, Feb 22: Neeraj Verma, daughter of Madan Lal Verma and Kiran Verma, and wife of Varun Chandan, of Marble Market, Trikuta Nagar Extension, Jammu, has been successfully awarded the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Education under the Faculty of Education from Desh Bhagat University Punjab.
She completed her doctoral research under the able supervision of Dr. Vijay Puri on the topic “Emotional Intelligence of Prospective Teachers Studying in Private Colleges of Education of Jammu Province in Relation to their Locality, Gender and Academic Achievement.”
Her research explores the crucial role of emotional intelligence among future educators and examines how factors such as locality, gender, and academic performance influence their emotional competencies. The study is expected to contribute significantly to the field of teacher education and help in developing more emotionally aware and effective teaching professionals.
