Principal Reena Jandyal honoured with District Best Teacher Award at Chanunta

UDHAMPUR, Feb 25: A grand civic felicitation ceremony was held at Government Higher Secondary School, Chanunta, to honour Principal Reena Jandyal on receiving the prestigious District Best Teacher Award-2025 from the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir.
The was jointly organised by Guru Nabadas Social Welfare Council and Dogra Artist Promotion Group at the school campus, drawing a large gathering of social workers, educationists and local residents. Principal Jandyal was welcomed with floral garlands, draped in the traditional chunri of Mata Rani and presented with a special memento in recognition of her dedication and remarkable contribution to the field of education.
Speaking on the occasion, Sandeep Khajuria, Managing Director of Dogra Artist Promotion Group, praised the school's impressive infrastructure and academic standards, stating that under Principal Jandyal's leadership, the institution has set benchmarks comparable to private schools. Somraj Kundal, District President of Guru Nabadas Social Welfare Council, lauded her for nurturing students and strengthening public confidence in government schools.
Members of the Inner Wheel organization and several prominent citizens also highlighted that her achievement symbolizes women empowerment and serves as an inspiration for society.
Expressing gratitude, Principal Reena Jandyal dedicated the honour to her staff and students, reaffirming her commitment to further enhancing the quality of education in the region.
