Doda police traced missing lady, reunited with family

Doda, Mar 1: Doda Police have successfully traced a missing lady along with her minor daughter and reunited them with their family. The missing report was lodged at Police Post Bhalra under the jurisdiction of Police Station Bhaderwah.
On 13.02.2026, a missing report regarding a lady namely Priya Devi, wife of Asish Bhagat, along with her 18-month-old daughter, resident of Chani Chinta, Tehsil Bhaderwah, District Doda, was entered at Police Post Bhalra.
Acting promptly on the report, Doda Police initiated sustained search efforts and technical investigation. Through persistent and coordinated efforts, the missing lady was successfully traced from Jammu. Accordingly, the missing report has been closed vide DDR No. 10 dated 01-03-2026 at Police Post Bhalra.
After completing all legal formalities, the traced lady along with her minor daughter were safely handed over to their legal heirs. Consequently, the search operation in respect of the said missing persons stands discontinued.
Doda Police reiterate their firm commitment towards the safety and well-being of citizens and urge the public to promptly report any missing cases to the nearest police station for timely and effective action.
