MP Gulam Ali Khatana reviews public issues at Dak Bungalow, pays condolences, inspects Social Welfare Institutions in Rajouri

RAJOURI, Mar 3: Sr. BJP Leader & Member of Rajya Sabha, Nominated, Er. Gulam Ali Khatana today held a detailed meeting with BJP karyakartas and public delegations at the Dak Bungalow, Rajouri. During the interaction, the MP patiently heard public grievances, developmental demands, and organizational matters raised by party workers and citizens. He assured that all genuine concerns would be taken up with the concerned authorities in a time-bound manner, reiterating the Bharatiya Janata Party's commitment to responsive administration, transparent governance, and people-centric development.
Later in the day, the MP visited Dhanidhar, Rajouri, where he attended the Namaz-e-Janaza of the respected mother of Naseer Choudhary, President, BJP Urban ST Morcha. Ghulam Ali Khatana expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul. He conveyed solidarity with the family in this hour of grief and described the loss as a moment of shared sorrow for the entire BJP family and the local community.
Subsequently, Khatana visited the offices of the Social Welfare Department, including the One Stop Centre (OSC) and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP). During the visit, he held an in-depth interaction with the Administrator and In-charge Social Welfare officials. The MP reviewed case histories, sought details of pending and resolved cases, and assessed the overall functioning of the centres. He emphasized the importance of timely intervention, confidentiality, compassion, and strict monitoring to ensure effective implementation of welfare schemes for women, children, and other vulnerable sections.
The MP also visited the Gujjar Hostel, where he interacted with hostel students and enquired about their educational environment, accommodation facilities, and welfare-related issues. Shri Khatana listened carefully to the concerns raised by the students and sought information regarding hostel infrastructure, academic support systems, and future opportunities. He assured the students that their genuine demands would be taken up at the appropriate level to ensure improved facilities and better outcomes.
Several senior BJP leaders and karyakartas accompanied the Hon'ble MP throughout the engagements, including District President Dev Raj Sharma, National Secretary Mushtaq Inqlabi, General Secretary Pushpinder Gupta, Ms. Samreen Khan, Yuva Morcha President Azhar Mehmood, ST Morcha Captain Nizam Din, Mandal Presidents Des Raj Sharma and Tarun Vassun, Shikha Bali, along with many other dedicated party workers. The visit reaffirmed the BJP's sustained focus on grassroots connect, social justice, and inclusive development in Rajouri district.
