170 Military Hospital organises blood donation camp

Akhnoor, Mar 7: On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026, 170 Military Hospital under the aegis of the Crossed Swords Division organised a series of health initiatives under the theme “Nari Swasth, Samaj Sashakt” (Healthy Women, Empowered Society). To commemorate the occasion, a Blood Donation Camp, HPV Vaccination Drive and Medical Camp were conducted to promote women’s health and well-being.
The initiatives witnessed enthusiastic participation and were a significant step towards strengthening healthcare awareness and preventive care among women. The beneficiaries included families of the formation, Veer Naris, widows and girl children, who received medical consultation, vaccination and healthcare support during the event.
Troops and families of the Crossed Swords Division participated with great enthusiasm, reflecting the formation’s commitment to women’s empowerment and health awareness.
The HPV vaccination drive is a crucial step towards preventing cervical cancer and protecting the future health of young women.
The formation expressed its sincere appreciation to all the voluntary blood donors, whose generous contribution will help save precious lives across the country.
