ADC Bhaderwah reviews progress of Jal Shakti, irrigation works

BHADERWAH, Mar 7: Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah Sunil Kumar Bhutyal today chaired a meeting to review the progress of ongoing works of the Jal Shakti and Irrigation & Flood Control Department. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on various schemes including Asha Pati Scheme, Monda Amrat Bhaderwah Scheme, Hanga Water Supply Scheme and Quill Reservoir. The officers informed the chair about the progress of these works.
The ADC emphasized that the pace of work should be further accelerated and directed the concerned departments to carry out the works in double shifts so that all pending works are completed without delay.
While reviewing the works of the Irrigation Department, it was informed that 20 irrigation drains are currently under progress. The ADC directed the department to ensure that all these drains are completed within the next ten days for the benefit of the local farmers and residents.
The meeting was attended by AEE PHE, concerned Assistant Engineers (AE) and Junior Engineers (JE) along with other officials of the concerned departments, who briefed the ADC about the status of ongoing projects and assured timely completion of the works.
