Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Apr 2: Following completion of their 9-month probation period in Kashmir Zone and on joining Jammu Zone for the next phase of probation, 55 Probationary Sub-Inspectors (PSIs) reported to District Udhampur. In this regard, SSP Udhampur Sh. Amod Ashok Nagpure-IPS today chaired an introductory meeting with them at District Police Lines (DPL) Udhampur. At the outset, SSP Udhampur welcomed the officers and congratulated them on entering the next phase of their policing journey. He briefed them on the prevailing security scenario, demographic sensitivities, deployment patterns, militancy trends, and core policing values of the district. SSP Udhampur stressed discipline, integrity and public-friendly policing, asking officers to deal with people politely while being firm against criminals and to uphold transparency, accountability and service to the public. He also emphasised the importance of developing strong investigation skills and thorough case handling to ensure timely and fair justice.
