| LPG distribution, eKYC reviewed at Samba | | | Early Times Report
SAMBA, Apr 11: A review meeting to assess the progress of eKYC of LPG consumers and issues related to distribution and monitoring of LPG cylinders was convened, here today. Deputy Commissioner Ayushi Sudan chaired the meeting held at the District Administrative Complex. At the outset, Assistant Director FCS&CA Rahul Gupta delivered a detailed presentation on the status and progress of eKYC in the district, highlighting existing gaps and the roadmap for achieving full saturation. The Deputy Commissioner directed concerned officers and stakeholders to expedite the eKYC process and ensure time-bound completion with clearly defined fresh targets. She emphasized close monitoring, accountability and intensified field-level efforts to achieve 100% saturation within stipulated timelines. The meeting decided to synchronize the eKYC drive with the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, leveraging field outreach for enhanced public awareness and behavioural change.
Among others present in the meeting were Tehsildar HQA, Assistant Controller LMD, TSOs, representatives from LPG agencies and other concerned officers. |
