Early Times Report LUCKNOW, Apr 11: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is continuously making efforts to give a new direction to women empowerment in Uttar Pradesh. The government is running several schemes aimed at making women self-reliant through education, training, and financial support. As a result of these efforts, 8 female candidates preparing at the Adarsh Pre-Examination Training Centre in Aliganj under the Chief Minister Abhyudaya Yojana, operated by the Social Welfare Department, have successfully cleared the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission examination. They have been selected for the posts of Deputy Collector, Assistant Commissioner, and Nayab Tehsildar. Among the successful candidates are Sonam Yadav, selected as Deputy Collector; Kumari Srishti, Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Tax); Khushboo Rani, Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Tax); Pragati Verma, Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Tax); Meenu Rawat, Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Tax); Priyanka Verma, Nayab Tehsildar; Shalu Rana, Nayab Tehsildar; and Kirti Sagar, selected for the post of Work Officer. The success of these candidates is not only a reflection of their personal struggles but also demonstrates that the schemes of the Yogi Government are working in the right direction. Deputy Director of the Social Welfare Department, Anand Kumar Singh, stated, "The department is working with full dedication in line with the vision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath." He informed that in the 2024 batch, 130 female candidates appeared for the examination, out of which 8 successfully cleared the UP Public Service Commission examination. He attributed this achievement to a positive environment, regular test series, and quality guidance. Under the Chief Minister Abhyudaya Yojana, students are provided free coaching, along with accommodation and food facilities, as well as a safe environment, enabling students from rural and economically weaker sections to prepare without stress. Sonam Yadav from Ayodhya, selected for the post of Deputy Collector, achieved success in her second attempt and brought pride to her region. She stated that despite a weak financial background, she did not give up. Starting her education from a primary school, she found the right direction and resources after joining the Chief Minister Abhyudaya Yojana. She emphasized that the focus on skill development and test series played a key role in her success. Pragati Verma from Hardoi, selected as Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Tax), achieved this milestone in her fourth attempt. After her father's demise, her mother worked as a sanitation worker to support her education. Pragati credited her success to her mother's struggle and the Chief Minister Abhyudaya Yojana run by the Social Welfare Department. She stated that patience and continuous effort are the keys to success. Similarly, Khushboo Rani from Sonbhadra, selected as Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Tax), succeeded in her third attempt. Coming from a farmer's family, she said that the conditions in her area motivated her to move forward. She credited her success to her family's support and the Chief Minister Abhyudaya Yojana. |
