Early Times Report MANDI GOBINDGARH, May 1: Students from Desh Bhagat University (DBU) delivered a commanding performance at the All India Inter-University Ju-Jitsu Championship, clinching an impressive medal haul that included three gold medals. Hosted by LNCT University in Bhopal, the prestigious event drew elite martial artists from universities nationwide. Spearheading DBU's stellar campaign were gold medalists Mamta Upadhyay, Kajal Pandey and Pramod, who exhibited flawless technique, unyielding determination, and poise to claim victory in their respective weight categories. Their decisive finals performances crowned them All-India University Champions. Bolstering the tally were silver medalists Vinoj Kumar, Arvind Dewasi, and Kuldeep, who mounted fierce challenges but fell just short in razor-close finals. DBU's depth shone through with bronze medals for Mamta Mehela, Tannu, Megha, and Avinash, each displaying remarkable resilience and competitive fire.
