Jammu, May 12: A beautiful celebration of love and appreciation unfolded at Jodhamal Public School as students came together to honour their mothers on Mother’s Day. To show the love and respect to their mothers, the young, enthusiastic and adorable children celebrated Mother’s Day recently in the school premises with great zeal. Chief Guest of the event was Dr. Neha Sharma (JKAS), Under Secretary to the Government.
The Junior Wing of the school celebrated this most special day with lots of memorable performances. The students came up with their presentation of melodious songs, energetic dance performances and the marvellous theatrical act to convey gratitude to their moms for their unconditional love. The moms had a splendid time enjoying various fun games and fashion show planned by the teachers. It was a pleasure watching the super excited and energetic moms during these activities. Mothers carried back home this gesture of little children as a token of love for them. The chief guest addressed the august gathering. The overall management of the event and Vote of Thanks was done by Ms. Deepali Puri, CCA Coordinator, Junior Wing.
Among the management, the dignitaries present were Mr. Nandan Kuthiala, Trustee, Mrs. Arati Kuthiala, Dr. Deep Khare, Director, Mrs. Amita Arora, Principal. The programme commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp to invoke God’s blessings. It was followed by welcome speech by Dr. Deep Khare, the Director of the school.
In her address, Ms. Amita Arora, the principal of the school extended gratitude to all the mothers for gracing the occasion. She also praised the efforts of the dance teachers, Music department ,theatre team and art department. |
