| Balbir installs calendar dedicated to Guru Ravidass | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 12: Devotee of Guru Ravidass and social activist Balbir Ram Rattan installed a calendar dedicated to the teachings and philosophy of Guru Ravidass at the business establishment of Guruji's follower Chander Kumar. The calendar, carrying inspirational messages and images related to Guru Ravidass Ji, aims to spread awareness about the saint's timeless teachings of equality, humanity, brotherhood and social harmony.
While installing the calendar, Balbir Ram Rattan said that Guru Ravidass devoted his entire life to the upliftment of humanity and worked tirelessly to eradicate discrimination and social divisions from society. He said that the teachings of Guru Ravidass continue to guide millions of people towards the path of truth, devotion and universal brotherhood.
Balbir said that such calendars are not merely decorative items but act as a daily source of inspiration for families and society. He added that every page and message associated with Guru Ravidass reminds people about the importance of unity, humility, compassion and respect for all sections of society. He stressed that the younger generation especially needs to understand and adopt the values preached by the great saint.
Balbir Ram Rattan also highlighted that Guru Ravidass always advocated equality and rejected all forms of caste discrimination and social injustice. He said that his teachings remain highly relevant in the present times when society needs stronger values of harmony and mutual respect.
