Taking a significant initiative towards the advancement of nursing education and healthcare practices, Rajiv Gandhi College of Nursing successfully conducted the summit and made it a grand success through dedicated planning, coordination, and active participation from professionals and students across various institutions in J&K. The summit served as a prestigious platform for nursing professionals, educators, healthcare experts, and students to exchange knowledge, discuss modern healthcare challenges, and explore innovative approaches in nursing education and practice. The grand event commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting by the distinguished dignitaries including Dr. Yashpal Sharma, Dean, Life Sciences, University of Jammu and Rector, Udhampur Campus; Dr. Dharminder Magotra, Director, CDC, University of Jammu; Dr. Sandeep Singh, Registrar, JKNC; M.S. Katoch, Chairman, Rajiv Gandhi College of Nursing; Abhimanyu Katoch, Managing Director, Rajiv Gandhi College of Nursing; and Anjana Bavouria, Director, Rajiv Gandhi College of Nursing. The auspicious ceremony symbolised the spirit of knowledge, wisdom, and dedication towards the noble nursing profession. The formal welcome address was delivered by Anjana Bavouria, Director, RGCN, who warmly welcomed all guests, delegates, faculty members and participants. The keynote address by Prof. Tariq Ahmed Dev, Professor-cum-Vice Principal, RGCN, highlighted the evolving role of nurses as leaders, caregivers, educators and advocates in the healthcare system.
