Early Times Report JAMMU, May 16: Harbans Roshan Bhalla Educational Foundation (HREF) is organizing a 13-day scholarship selection drive from May 18th to May 30th at Bee Enn General Hospital Complex, Talab Tillo Road, Jammu, for children of government schools belonging to financially weaker sections. The foundation said the initiative is aimed at supporting deserving students studying in government schools, especially girls and children from rural areas. Once selected under the programme, students receive continuous educational assistance and scholarship till college. HREF has been working in the field of education since 1997 and currently supports around 750 students through its scholarship programmes. This year, the foundation plans to extend the benefit to 300 more children. Students studying in Classes 1st to 3rd in government schools and belonging to financially challenged families are eligible to apply. The scholarship selection process will be conducted daily from 9:30 am to 11:00 am during the drive period 18th May to 30th May 2026 at Bee Enn General Hospital Complex. The foundation stated that the programme is part of its continued efforts to promote education among underprivileged children and help them secure a better future through quality educational support. |
