JAMMU, May 16: While on patrolling duty, a police party of Police Station Miran Sahib on ring road apprehended 2 unknown ladies who on seeing the police party became perplexed and tried to flee from the spot. Suspecting their conduct, both the ladies were apprehended tactfully. During enquiry, they disclosed their identity as Pooja Rathore W/o Kamal Rathore R/o Bhilwara, Rajasthan and Anita Kanwar W/o Azad Singh R/o Bhakliya, Bhilwara, Rajasthan. On their personal search, one polythene packet each containing Opium-like substance was recovered from their possession. On weighment, the recovered contraband was found to be approximately 1 kg. Thus, a total of approximately 01 kilogram of Afeem-like substance was recovered from their conscious possession. Legal action has been initiated under NDPS Act against both the accused persons. |
