JAMMU, May 19: District Magistrate Jammu, Rakesh Minhas in exercise of powers vested under section 163 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita has imposed ban on transportation of bovine animals such as Cow, Buffalo, Oxen, Bulls, Calves etc from district Jammu to other district without seeking permission from the District Magistrate or Additional District Magistrate.
The order shall remain in force for a period of two months from date of its issue or till the order is rescinded, whichever be earlier.
Any violation of this order shall invite punitive action under section 223 of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita. |
