| DC Kishtwar approves 160 cases under Mission YUVA | | | Early Times Report KISHTWAR, June 9: The District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) met today in Kishtwar under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Sharma to review and approve applications submitted under the Mission YUVA scheme. A total of 160 applications, duly verified by the Small Business Development Units (SBDUs), were presented to the committee. Each proposal was assessed on the basis of eligibility, project feasibility and the socio-economic background of the applicant. After detailed scrutiny, the committee approved all 160 applications for financial assistance and handholding support, as verified by J&K Bank Manager and Cluster Head Kishtwar. DC Sharma highlighted the importance of empowering youth to contribute to local economic development. He directed the AD Employment to ensure that all sanctioned cases are promptly forwarded to banks so that beneficiaries receive timely assistance under the scheme. He also advised banks to expedite the sanctioning and disbursement of loans and extend continuous guidance to support emerging entrepreneurs. Mission YUVA serves as a key initiative in generating livelihood avenues and fostering self-reliance among the youth of Kishtwar district. Among those present were PO ICDS Rishi Kumar Sharma, DSWO Tariq Parveaz Qazi, AD Employment/ALC Mamta Sudershan, EO Vinod Kumar, Manager J&K Bank Cluster Head and staff of the departments concerned. |
