Early Times Report LUCKNOW, June 10: Completing 4,399 days as the elected Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has become the longest-serving public representative in this position. On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, extending greetings on behalf of the people of Uttar Pradesh. In the letter, the Chief Minister wrote, "Heartiest congratulations and best wishes on behalf of all the people of Uttar Pradesh on the successful completion of 12 years dedicated to nation-building, good governance, and public welfare." He expressed confidence that Uttar Pradesh will continue to make its best contribution to nation-building under the Prime Minister's leadership. The Chief Minister wrote, "Under the Prime Minister's successful leadership, Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a unique blend of faith and economy. The consecration of Ram Lalla at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, the successful redevelopment of Kashi Vishwanath Dham, and the guiding principle of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas' have given a new direction, new momentum, and renewed confidence to India's development over the last 12 years. The nation has set new benchmarks in service, security, good governance, and prosperity. Inspired by this vision, Uttar Pradesh has also achieved unprecedented success in public welfare, good governance, and inclusive development, playing a leading role in realizing the vision of a Viksit Bharat." CM Yogi wrote, "Welfare schemes being implemented under the Prime Minister's inspiring leadership have benefited crores of citizens in Uttar Pradesh. More than 3 crore toilets have been constructed in the state under the Swachh Bharat Mission, while around 65 lakh families have received permanent houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, nearly 10 crore eligible citizens have received Swasthya Suraksha Kavach (health coverage). Around 15 crore people are receiving free ration through the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana and the National Food Security Act. The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana has freed 1.86 crore women from smoke-filled kitchens, while more than 3 crore farmers in the state have received direct financial assistance through the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. The Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Soil Health Card, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana, and other farmer-centric programmes have made significant contributions to increasing agricultural production, productivity, and farmers' income. |
