| London-Jammu virtual conference strengthens mission of Guru Ravidass: Balbir | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 17: Describing the close coordination between the London headquarters and the Indian branch of the British Ravidasia Heritage Foundation (BRHF) as a major step towards expanding the global reach of Guru Ravidass Ji’s teachings, Balbir Ram Rattan, National General Secretary of BRHF India, said that a virtual conference held between London and Jammu has further strengthened the mission of spreading the Guru’s message of equality, brotherhood, and social justice. He said that the Indian branch, under the leadership of its National President Rajesh Bagha, is regularly reaching the masses through various activities based on the teachings of Guru Ravidass. Balbir Ram Rattan participated in the conference from Jammu, while BRHF Chairman Om Prakash Bagha and other office-bearers joined from the Foundation’s headquarters in London. The interaction focused on enhancing cooperation among different units of the organization and planning future programmes to take the teachings of Guru Ravidass to a wider audience across the world. The British Ravidasia Heritage Foundation is a London-based global organization committed to promoting the philosophy, teachings, and ideals of Guru Ravidass. The conference served as an important platform for reviewing ongoing activities, sharing experiences, and a common roadmap for future initiatives aimed at spreading awareness about the Guru’s timeless message. Chairman Om Prakash Bagha emphasized the need for stronger international coordination so that the younger generation can be effectively connected with the teachings and values of Guru Ravidass. He said that the Foundation is actively working to preserve and promote the rich spiritual and cultural heritage associated with the revered saint and social reformer. During the discussion, participants exchanged views on community outreach activities in different countries. Special emphasis was laid on encouraging greater participation of young people in programmes related to the life and philosophy of Guru Ravidass. Balbir Ram Rattan said that the teachings of Guru Ravidass are highly relevant in the present times, as they inspire people to rise above discrimination and work for a society based on equality, mutual respect, and human dignity. He expressed confidence that continued cooperation between the London headquarters and the Indian branch would further strengthen the global mission of Guru Ravidass and help spread his message of social harmony and human welfare to future generations. |
