| CDF, MPLAD Works; DC Kishtwar sets deadlines for completion | | |

KISHTWAR, June 22: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Pankaj Kumar Sharma today convened a meeting to assess the status and progress of works being executed under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) and Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) for the FYs 2025-26 and 2026-27.
Chief Planning Officer Akhil Thakur briefed the Deputy Commissioner about the current status of the CDF and MPLADS works. The Deputy Commissioner reviewed in detail the constituency-wise and work-wise progress of each project.
The Deputy Commissioner set three deadlines-June 30, July 15 and July 31, 2026-for the completion of different works. He directed the executing agencies to maintain pace as per the deadlines adding that the progress of each work shall be cross-checked at the next review meeting. He directed the Executive Engineer REW to issue final notices to the contractors who have not started the allotted works yet.
