DODA, June 22: Continuing its sustained efforts under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, SHO Police Station Thathri along with his team, in collaboration with the staff and students of Government Higher Secondary School Jangalwar, conducted a drive against illegal cultivation of cannabis in the Kahila-Phagsoo area Thathri. During the operation, illegal cannabis cultivation spread over approximately 04 kanals of land was successfully uprooted and destroyed. The drive was carried out with the objective of preventing the misuse of narcotic substances at the source and promoting a drug-free society through active community participation.
Doda Police appreciated the cooperation and enthusiastic participation of the school staff and students, emphasizing that collective efforts by law enforcement agencies, educational institutions and the public are essential to effectively combat the drug menace.
