JAMMU, June 24: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) District JammuSouth Publicity Secretary Pardeep Sharma has issued an important statement regarding women's safety and social awareness about them.
He stated that in today's changing environment, ensuring the safety of women and making them aware of their rights has become a highly concerning and important subject.
Pardeep Sharma emphasized that the progress of any civilized society is measured by how safe and empowered its women feel.
He added that to stop the rising crimes against women, legal systems alone are not enough; a change in society's mindset is also essential.
Special grassroots campaigns should be launched to educate women about their legal rights, helpline numbers, and self-defense methods.
He reiterated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Central Government is continuously working for 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' (Save daughters, Educate daughters) and women's empowerment, and the party at the local level is also committed to providing a safe environment for women.
