DODA, July 6: The Municipal Council Doda, under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Krishan Lal, today organised a registration and awareness drive at the Municipal Council Office for enrollment under the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) and Atal Pension Yojana (APY).
The programme was conducted under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, Municipal Council Doda. Representatives from various banks facilitated the registration of Municipal Council employees under these Government of India schemes, providing information on the objectives, eligibility criteria, premium structure and benefits of each scheme, along with on-the-spot registration assistance.
The PMJJBY offers life insurance coverage, the PMSBY provides accidental insurance coverage, while the APY is a pension scheme aimed at ensuring financial stability during old age. |
