JAMMU, July 12: In a significant operation against narcotics trafficking, Police Station Bahu Fort on 09-07-2026 recovered around 2 kilograms of ganja from person namely Sikander Kumar Mandal S/o Singhasur Mandal, R/o Biharganj, Bihar, at present Gangyal, Jammu.
In this connection Case FIR No 220/2026 under relevant sections stands registered at PS Bahu Fort and the investigation is underway.
This successful operation reflects the unwavering commitment of Jammu Police towards eradicating the menace of drugs from society and safeguarding the youth from the harmful effects of narcotics. The action is also in line with the vision of Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha's 100-Day Anti-Drug Campaign, which aims to strengthen enforcement measures, raise awareness, and create a drug-free Jammu & Kashmir.
